“Okay, we’re still buzzing from the weekend! Being the presenting sponsor of Best.Weekend.Ever in downtown Harrisonburg was honestly everything we hoped it would be and more.”
Main Street in Harrisonburg Was Absolutely Electric
You know that feeling when your whole town just comes alive? That’s exactly what happened when they shut down Main Street and let thousands of people loose with drinks in hand.
The energy was incredible – everywhere you looked, there was something happening. Street performers popping up out of nowhere, live music bleeding from one to the next, and people genuinely having the time of their lives.
Dr. Julia Giardina put it perfectly: “Being the presenting sponsor of Best.Weekend.Ever was just that—the best! It felt like Downtown Harrisonburg came alive with energy, a walkable celebration filled with music, local art, entertainment, and activities for all ages.
Whether it was exploring the markets, catching street performers, sipping and strolling through Main Street, or dancing to live music at every turn, there was magic around every corner.”
And she’s right – there really was magic everywhere.
So Much Happening, We Could Barely Keep Up
The artisan markets were packed (seriously, some of those local makers are incredibly talented). The Sip & Stroll situation was genius – being able to walk around with your favorite drink while taking in all the chaos in the best possible way.
Our team member Stephanie described it perfectly: “We had an absolute blast being the presenting sponsor of Best.Weekend.Ever in downtown Harrisonburg! This high-energy celebration turned the heart of the city into a day-long festival, packed with music, entertainment, and hands-on activities for all ages.
From street performers and artisan markets to the lively Sip & Stroll and multiple stages of live music, every corner of downtown offered something exciting.”
Kids were running around with face paint, parents were actually relaxing (when does that ever happen?), and teenagers weren’t glued to their phones because there was too much cool stuff happening in real life.
This Is Why We Love Our Harrisonburg Community
Look, we could sponsor a lot of different things. But events like this? This is what Harrisonburg is all about.
