Downtown Dining Alliance

HDR is proud to partner with the Downtown Dining Alliance (DDA) on events and programs to support and strengthen our downtown culinary culture.

The Downtown Dining Alliance is an organization of 100% locally-owned and -operated restaurants located in Harrisonburg's Central Business District. It is an ad-hoc committee of HDR and works closely with the City of Harrisonburg to promote downtown as a viable business district.

Programs & Initiatives

Food for Fundraisers
Currently, the Downtown Dining Alliance (DDA) is looking for non-profit organizations that are conducting fundraisers and need food and refreshments. The DDA will provide an in-kind donation of food and non-alcoholic refreshments in exchange for advertising. Virginia Eagle Distributing is available to provide alcoholic refreshments, if necessary. JMU's Forbes Center for the Performing Arts
Make your outing to the Forbes Center for the Performing Arts an even more memorable experience with a visit to one of the restaurants in downtown Harrisonburg. Participating DDA restaurants offer a 10% discount and expedited seating for theater-goers who call ahead and present a Forbes Center Subscriber Advantage Card.
