HDR is proud to partner with the Merchants of Historic Downtown Harrisonburg (MHDH) on events and programs to support and strengthen our downtown merchants and shop local culture.

MHDH is an independent organization dedicated to:

• developing and nurturing a cooperative and mutually supportive relationship between merchants
• supporting and advocating for the preservation and revitalization of the historic downtown district
• fostering a lively and attractive environment for shoppers and tourists
• connecting businesses and non-profit organizations in a unified effort
• promoting, preserving, revitalizing, and strengthening the local economy
• maintaining the historic character and artistic diversity of our downtown
