HDR supports the downtown small business community by holding collaborative quarterly business meetings and sending regular email communications about things that impact our downtown businesses.
Downtown Business Meetings
HDR invites all downtown businesses to attend quarterly business meetings to discuss updates and encourage collaborations among businesses. During these meetings, we set aside time for businesses to share updates, network with other business owners, and brainstorm ideas.
Whether it is during informal time drinking coffee or when we do a "round robin" sharing circle, almost every meeting sparks a new idea for collaboration or partnership.
Business Meetings will happen quarterly. Dates TBD!
Training Sessions
HDR offers workshops and training on pertinent business topics as needed. Past trainings have included Marketing Made Easy, an online course to help businesses with easy and practical marketing strategies, as well as accessibility seminars.
Downtown Business Email Updates
Throughout the year, HDR staff sends timely and targeted information and resources directly to downtown business owners and managers related to grants, promotional opportunities, joint marketing campaigns, awards, trainings, general news about downtown happenings, and more.
