Cassidy Walker

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Cassidy Walker is originally from Central Virginia and moved to Harrisonburg to attend Eastern Mennonite University, where she earned a B.A. in Art, Photography, and Digital Media & Communications. While at EMU, Cassidy discovered a strong sense of community that quickly made Harrisonburg feel like home. After falling in love with downtown while attending EMU and experiencing the welcoming spirit of the city and surrounding mountains, she knew Harrisonburg was a place she didn’t want to leave.

At HDR, Cassidy oversees the Friendly City Fortune mega raffle fundraiser and coordinates Downtown Happy Hour. She also manages donor and sponsor relationships, working with local businesses and community partners to support HDR’s events, programs, and initiatives.

As Development Manager, Cassidy focuses on building and strengthening partnerships that help advance HDR’s mission. Businesses, organizations, and individuals interested in supporting Downtown Harrisonburg through sponsorships, donations, or partnerships are encouraged to connect with Cassidy.
